We know that things at work like stress and exposure to second-hand smoke can affect your health. Such things can lead to health problems like high blood pressure and heart disease. To learn more about the effect of work on your health, the REGARDS Study is now asking participants questions about their jobs. These questions help to study the physical and mental strains of jobs.
This research project is supported by a cooperative agreement U01 NS041588 from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services.
